I work as aHR professional with a passion for people, personal growth, and, most importantly, my two beloved dogs, Nell and Pip. As I approach the big 5-0, I’ve been reflecting deeply on life—what truly matters and what I no longer want to tolerate.

Losing my mum was one of the hardest moments of my life, and it really made me see how little support there is in the corporate world when you’re going through something so deeply personal. Grief doesn’t follow a schedule, yet I was still expected to show up, keep going, and be available. The constant demands of my job didn’t ease, and the lack of understanding made me reflect on what truly matters, being contacted at all hours—whether through emails, calls, or messages—has blurred the lines between work and personal life, leaving little time to breathe. It’s draining, and I knew this wasn’t the way I wanted to live.

That’s why I made the change, since joining the 'Grounded in Freedom' community, I’ve been working hard on my personal development and mindset, learning what it takes to step away from the traditional 9-5 and create a life on my own terms. I no longer wanted to be tied to a system that doesn’t value real-life struggles. I wanted to break free, become financially independent, and build a future filled with joy, adventure, and peace. I

dream of long countryside walks with Nell and Pip, spontaneous getaways, and finally having the freedom to put myself—and them—first. Life is too short to spend it waiting for the weekends. So, here’s to new beginnings, bold choices, and a future where freedom and happiness come first.
